Wellsville Animal Hospital is looking for a compassionate and customer-focused veterinary Client Care Specialist/Receptionist.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people and pets, is organized and efficient and is team oriented.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet clients and pets warmly and professionally.
  • Schedule appointments and manage the daily appointment flow.
  • Answering incoming calls, handle client inquiries and relay messages to the medical staff.
  • Check clients in and out.
  • Maintain patient records and ensure information is up to date.
  • Keep the lobby area clean and organized.
  • Support the team with basic tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of experience in a receptionist, customer service, or veterinary clinic role preferred.
  • Excellent multi-tasking, communication and computer skills.
  • Friendly and calm demeanor, even during busy and stressful situations.
  • Comfortable working around animals of all sizes and temperaments.
  • Familiarity with veterinary software (Shepherd) is a plus. We will train.
