Wellsville Animal Hospital is looking for a compassionate and customer-focused veterinary Client Care Specialist/Receptionist.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people and pets, is organized and efficient and is team oriented.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and pets warmly and professionally.
- Schedule appointments and manage the daily appointment flow.
- Answering incoming calls, handle client inquiries and relay messages to the medical staff.
- Check clients in and out.
- Maintain patient records and ensure information is up to date.
- Keep the lobby area clean and organized.
- Support the team with basic tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ years of experience in a receptionist, customer service, or veterinary clinic role preferred.
- Excellent multi-tasking, communication and computer skills.
- Friendly and calm demeanor, even during busy and stressful situations.
- Comfortable working around animals of all sizes and temperaments.
- Familiarity with veterinary software (Shepherd) is a plus. We will train.
